Saharan oyster

I create as I speak: abra
A moment from mind, retrieve
The breath, an arm, redress
A skeleton in flesh which nourishes
Me as I undress.

I transgress as I speak: ka
Hear phrases like mantras, feel his weight,
His grip, plunge
My teeth in a thigh,
My head in the sand.
Enamel cracks on his pearly eye.
Dry, I repeat a name, his
Name, see him dwindle and

Disappear like this word: dabra

This is a fresh read. There’s a hypnotic touch to it. My favorite so far of your poems. Thank you for sharing it. Cheers.

Thank you so much. I’ve had problems writing (and reading) lately due to too much stress and too many obligations. Perhaps I need some lemon in my life.
